It's not the players but those who allowed them to behave such as. Reagrding the manager, once again, don't listen to interviews. The interviews are not for the fans, but strictly for the media. Unfortunately we don't back our manager from media howlers, instead so called fans use it for own profit, atraction etc... I'm calm, cause even if structure still not in place He had a fair say on transfers & fair amount of unprovoked mistakes in managing. Hence, the) manager had a certain fair go & failed. He can still turn it around probably under a functional football structure, but if sacked there's a lot to justify it. Hope it helps to deal & navigate the fanbase with. I was proud from our fanbase when I became a fan of the club almost 30 years ago. This is not the case anymore btw. Funny enough what I saw from so called "fans" which are matchgoing that did change my mind. Btw I'm aware of your agendas, as you are & thats the best it could be. If you look at Rashfords scoring spell last season, it started on boxing day and was over by February 19th, thats less than 2 months of top performance from a player who should be performing like that week in week out. Since then he has gone back to pretty much normal scoring statistics for him, I think he did the exact same to Ole though he scored 17 in a season in the league and it makes the managers think he can walk on water. Its like Southgate also, if one of his favourites puts in a crap performance for England or isnt even playing in the league they become obsessed with trying to find that moment of decent form with a player who has no merit being in the team and they will get given chance after chance until the manager gets himself sacked...

Rice and Mount are totally different players. Rice has more defensive attributes and is one of the best midfielders in Europe, and Mount has more impact further up the pitch and isnt on the same level as Rice. It was a silly comparison from that journalist
