@Danimal133 жыл бұрын
@@joeboonmusic4004 😂😂 Ford has no stand out skills, he’s just about average at everything he does, I’ve played 10 and 12 to a high standard, not professional standard but still it’s pretty much the same so I know what is required from a 10 in a team to make it work and that’s decisiveness, vision, courage, a calm head and doing everything possible to win, Ford has non of these traits, he gets flustered far too easily, is easy for defenders to read and far too reliant on his boot which again isn’t very good and for someone with over 50 international caps to only have a handful of good games is appalling, he also can’t seem to play when Farrell isn’t there. If he wasn’t in the England team his form for Leicester wouldn’t warrant a place in the England side, if you take a game to just watch Ford you’ll see how out of place he is, he hides on defence and when he does get into contact he just hold people whilst losing ground waiting for someone else to finish the tackle and on attack I know it’s hard to play behind a pack going backwards but even so truly world class 10’s find a way to do it and at one stage we had one of best packs in the world and he was still doing the same things which is just a waste of all the packs hard work, me personally I would hate to play alongside a 10 which always gives the ball with a man on the end of it because he’s so easy to read and then he gets scared and kicks away all day, it’s no wonder Farrell is getting so much stick at the minute because he’s having to do the job of the 10 and the 12 and spreading himself too thin, you’ll see eventually when Smith or Simmonds come into the squad how bad he actually is and how much better we can be with someone who has all of the traits I mentioned at the start

No matter how much people rave on about a rugby talent it all depends on the coaches and selection panels. If the talent don’t fit what the coaches and selection panel are looking for? Then they don’t get picked. There are so many talented players that have come an gone and have not made higher honours as they did not fit the mould the coaches and selection panels at the time. We see it all the time in NZ , no difference to England. People can go on with their praises and drumming beats to a particular talent, but if the coach and selectors have other ideas then too bad to the talent.
