Cashman fail at getting Yamamoto, Blake Snell. Dylan Cease , Corbin Burnes. Meanwhile Dodgers getting 2 aces plus Tyler G from Rays. While the Yankees get 1 rental Juan Soto plus third tier mediocre pitcher Marcus Stroman. It’s not a good 2023 offseason acquisition by Cashman, he should be fire 🔥 if the Yankees don’t make to the World Series

The Yankees actually offered more money than the Dodgers. What were they supposed to do? Blake Snell is asking for too much, but, that doesn't mean things are over with him? Notice, as of today (01.16.2024) Blake Snell is still on the market. That means that NO ONE is jumping to throw money at him. It's said that Snell wants 7-8 years? And more than $35M! And the Yankees aren't just jumping to trade for Dylan Cease or Corbin Burnes. You just called Juan Soto a "rental". Burnes is the same! Burnes has stated that he will not sign an extended with anyone! So, do you give away the last of your prospects and/or Spencer Jones? Stop it. And stop talking about the Dodgers. They aren't in our division and they actually have to play the game on the field. Who's to say that they will even make it to the NLCS or World Series?

Not having won it all since 2009 does bother me to an extent but I don't suddenly look at Brian Cashman as a clown like most of the infantile Yankee fans do. I have an understanding of the game just as much as you do and other. Cole isn't going to suddenly disintegrate as some of you say in the next year or two. Neither is Judge. However, going out and giving up your last viable prospects for a Dylan Cease who is a #3 at best or Corbin Burnes who has stated that he wants to test free agency are not good moves. Focus in on Snell. I think that Snell is going to get paid but he sure isn't going to get 8 years and $35m+. So wait him out a bit. IT seems like you and many fans like you think that the Yankees just need to snap their fingers and players will flock to NY. Not so in this day and age. Too many sitors exist now.

What are you saying? It's not just the Yankees who don't want Bauer. It's all 30 teams that are showing no interest in him. Watson has nothing to do with this situation. You seem to have a very reactionary attitude towards the Yankees? Stroman is a worthwhile gain. He is a #3 at this point in this career. Even #2. Definitely more serviceable than Luis Severino or Domingo German. So why don't you see this as an upgrade?
