Sidonie and I originally recorded this song back in 2013, when we were both in sixth form college together. I was still fairly new to music production back then and have been wanting to rewrite it again for a while now. A lot of fond memories associated with this piece - memories of late summer, of wheat fields in the sunset, of home.

I listened to Evening Star a lot when I was still a teenager, as I was very much into the Brony fandom and it was an uplifting and happy type of music that made me smile most of the time. I listened especially to your epic music tracks (To Build an Army, Starswirl the Bearded, etc.) while I was gaming hard and thinking of things to draw. Your music helped me through one of the toughest times of my life and I regret falling away from it. Coming back, refreshed from the beating I've been dealt by life and a little more in tuned with myself, I still find your music enthralling. Thank you for the beautiful orchestrations.
