I am not sure if anyone has asked but did you have to paid added tax on this? I was looking at the 2023 model for around £248 atm but usually anything over £135 I am fairly sure you get asked to pay tax unless the courier is 4PX or someone similar

@@LC-ig5hp I didn't on this, although I recently bought a 2023 model and I got caught in customs. I then had to pay vat and customs duty which amounted to another £58.

If you get a chance, I would just LOVE to see how this tablet displays webpage content and how common apps look on this display. Things like navigating around the KZbin app, opening a video in landscape and portrait mode, reading comments while a video plays, and making Google searches. Visiting news websites like The Verge, TechCrunch, seeing how Google search results display in portrait and landscape mode. The last thing I was interested in is seeing how this tablet might look when fully customized. (New wallpaper, apps, so on). If you ever get the chance to film a video like this, I would be so grateful! I'm considering this as a cheaper alternative to the iPad Mini. I nearly bought the Galaxy Z Fold 5 to use as a tablet since I'm very satisfied with how it displays all the content I mentioned above. Hoping this could be the better option...

It displays websites as any pc or Chromebook does with a 16/9 aspect ratio. In fact, connect a keyboard, mouse and monitor and it works like a pc.

hello I would like to buy it too, can you tell me if the game brawl stars is supported? what if apps like netflix can be seen in hd? Was it easy to install the Playstore? and lenovo game center app and also in english language?

It was very easy to set it too English language, it's the first choice it gives you the first time you switch it on. The Playstore is as easy to install from the Lenovo game centre as installing any app from game store. Literally search for google playstore and tap install. All the streaming streaming site look great as Dolby vision is supported and also sounds great too. I will check if Brawl Stars is available when I get a chance and leave another comment on here but I would assume it is.

hello i wanted to ask since you didnt get the global version does the tablet have everything in english when you chose english including settings and notification? what about the apps downloaded from playstore do they have engilsh language or does it automattically switch to chinese language in games?

Once you choose English, most of the stuff to read while setting up is in English. There's a few agreements to ok that are in Chinese so just use google translate on your phone to read it. Once it's set up and you've downloaded playstore it's all English. The "Global" is exactly the same just someone has opened the box and done it already, and sometimes install a load of crap on there!

Well it’s not Lenovo, it’s google. It’s had updates up until now so all good I guess.

I don't know. Guess it works with wifi data but won't work if you leave your wifi network. I'd assume it doesn't to avoid disappointment. 🙂

Tbh there may be an update to 13 but not sure, it's still on 12 at the moment and if I'm honest that doesn't look much different from the last 11 so I doubt 13 will be anything to get excited about. No problems with any games. Asked my son earlier if all games run ok without glitches and he said it never glitches due to performance, only because internet speed sometimes fluctuates, but that's nothing to do with the tablet.

@@monst3r_372 there is already videos of that on KZbin. It is so easy. The app centre is like any app downloading app. You just go on it and search google and install google play store. Its that easy. Which country are you?

@@monst3r_372 Netflix looks great and so do all the other streaming services. Also where you can download shows, the Y700 has a large memory and SD-Card expansion. I will see if that game is available in the play store later.

No I didn’t. Depends on wether it’s checked by customs. If they do then they slap the charge on. You have to be prepared for that. I think it’s about 20%.

Absolutely not, but it’s the fact it has the processing power to run cpu intensive games smoothly. MS Office files and outlook can be accessed with the right apps. KZbin definitely. Luma Fusion is now available for android so it’s great for video editing too!

@@kanabanakamura864 I don’t know about the new one but type c port on this one definitely isn’t flimsy. The whole thing feels very premium. A lot of people say about usb-c bot being great but it’s a massive improvement over micro usb!

Does the display look better on the Lenovo to you? And do you find that font scaling is nicer on the Lenovo? Meaning, webpage content looks structured better. Thanks!

@@Miguel-DelFirst off, I don't have an iPad mini. I was making that statement based solely on specs, because I knew people would come back at me saying the iPad mini is better. Also if iPad are your thing you may just prefer the iPad mini because most won't be pursuaded that anything else can be good and personally I have an iPad myself and I think it's great, but my eyes are still open the the outside world! I think the Lenovo screen is excellent. If I didn't know better I'd've sworn it was oled. Also one more point, this tablet is less than half the price of the iPad mini, and when you take that into account it beats the iPad mini hands down. Thanks for watching.
