In Mobile Alabama, Fat Tuesday goes hand in hand with JOE CAIN Day, dedicate to a Mobilian who almost single handedly revived the celebration of Mardi Gras in his cherished hometown. Cain's death is mourned by a surprisingly large number of grieving widows.
