Oh damn ! A guitar channel with Marduk played accurately by a real guitarist. And he owns a Vigier. On what planet am I ? Cheers man.

dont know if i already said this, but if i did, ill say it again, because its brilliant. brilliant tutorials, and what makes it even more better is that there are so many songs i always wanted to play, but black metal (as well as james brown :) ) is really obscure in the world of tabs and tutorials, as well as any other place you might look for it, and i am terrible at figuring out songs by ear. so, many thanks for all your hard work, and for being so productive with it as well, that has to be hard work. i am of course subscribed since earlier this year. xoxooxxo - darkesd saurom mordors lord terrible-secret kenneth dementor of ghost horses, ba, hons.

This is cool. Right on. It's often difficult to discern all the notes with black metal due to the white noise of all the instruments.

What string gauges do you use for black metal? I've heard that I should have heavier strings, lighter strings, etc. No clear consensus. Which works best for really fast trem picking?

I use 10's in standard tuning and Power Slinky's for D/Drop D

Any reason why you did not use your rat? Is the rat not as good for faster/tremolo type playing?

domrolando I swap my pedals round all the time... The RAT is amazing at high volume I find, but a bit muddy at bedroom levels...

surprised its in standard tuning, it sounds dropped a full step down on the record
