Because the majority of them were taken/filmed after his bodybuilding days, during his later movie career. By that time he rarely trained and so got smaller. Because movie producers thought he was actually *too* big and told him to shrink down lol.

The Bodybuilders then trained even harder than the Steroid Freaks of today .It was never easy to win a MR America and Mr Universe . Bodybuilding is finished
