Love it, it's really taken me back to 2007 when we went on our only 2 cruises ever, both Med, different ships, loved both. I looked up both our ships and both have been scrapped! Incredible to think that luxury cruise liners get scrappped like cars, it made me quite sad. We weren't alcohol inclusive so I drank the 'Cocktail of the day' every day which was half price 😉 Ella now 24, was 7! Can't wait to see Greece, I love it so much & not been since 2004 😔 fab videos Iona, really enjoying your trip, porridge was funny, SALT 🤢😂 maple syrup!!

Haha when it’s being cooked it needs salt, no?!😂 but maple syrup is the way mum serves it yip agreed. I can’t believe the scrap them either, that’s so sad isn’t it. Millions of pounds and memories made on them and then…next! Well ours wasn’t a new one for sure but we felt it was ideal for us and luxurious, remember where weve come from ha. Well would Ella like to go on another cruise do you think and would you? Ix

@@IonaMacinnes we'd both like to go on another one, it was deffo my best holiday ever and it was a cheap company. I couldn't believe we could go to the 24 hr restaurant anytime and get as many desserts as we liked!! 😂🤭 I think I'd go on the smallest ship possible, our first one took 1,606 passengers, I think that's quite small, she was built as a 'cruiseferry' which is both. Scrapped in India in 2018. It's a shame, all that accomodation wasted :( I dont like the huge ones, it's a bit sardine like. I'd like a cruise round the UK! NO salt in my porridge! Mind I don't put it in anything.

Nice vid lol I have done probably 40 cruises with Marella / Thomson and had breakfast at most 4 times. Not good.

oh the food was good. I'm just jealous of you going up the hills tomorrow. The wea ther here is so rubbish, no hiking to rid the holiday excess eating issue! The food was good and so was the alcohol! Mum has higher standards than me so she was less than impressed on several occasions but I was totally fine ha! Ix

Thanks so much for this video Iona. It means so much to me. My mum who was from Bridge of Weir just passed away. She was 91 and still lived on her own. I showed her a few of your videos and she loved them as much as I do.

See you rejected the Porridge because of no salt, now that's your personal preference, but the kitchen isn lt making it for you, they're making it for the whole ship, so if you want salt put it on yourself...sorry but you reaction to the Porridge shows you really aren't good at this and I'll not bother with any more from you
