she seems tough as NAILS...very frank, very down to earth and all...that's the grounded part of country music that is pretty cool...until they get to the Los Angeles Boot Camp portion prior to being released to Nashville...that tears them apart if they aren't careful...the bedazzled skinny jeans, mandatory cowboy hats, jean skirts, plaid shirts and songs about trucks, dogs, sloshing coolers, hot summer nights, cold bear, country girls/boys, grass, creeks, lakes, hay bales,. tractors, moonshine, rinse, repeat. congratulations, i've written you an entire country song. you just have to put it together. they are ALL the same....

A lot of people don't listen to country cos they think its all white folk and depressing, country has some great artists. Check out Darius Rucker he a black guy singing country some good country out there some good stories in the songs. Tim Mcgraw. Miranda Lambert but my personal favourite because his voice doesn't match his face and his voice is just out of this world he can sing any genre is Chris Stapleton. If you don't know who this guy is you need to. Chris Stapleton can sang. And Carrie underwood is probably best female vocalist in country

For artists and performers what she described is a walk of shame. It means one less paycheck and one less job opportunity. It feels like shame.. it feels like we're not good enough. As far as the popular sense of the term, it's only a walk of shame if you let it be.

Someone commented that Maren looks depressed. My opinion is that she possibly seems that way because she has a God-sized hole in her heart that only trusting in Jesus can fill ❤ I was not able to fill the hole in my life until I cried out to Jesus Christ to save me.
