I forgot all the time she’s even a child of actors becuz she’s always stood out in the smallest indie roles as a brilliant actress and completely had her own identity, and for a long time seemed like an obscure cult actress, so she’s definitely done the work and deserves every bit of acclaim she gets now

well, she sort of is a nepo baby but way, way, way less than Denzel's kid and a few others, she seems to be getting roles on her own, specially because her mother hasn't been in big movies for like the last 30 years lol

Well, it's not about deserve or not deserve. You objectively are one, or you're not, and in this case, she is. I think what you MEAN to say is that even though she's a nepo baby, she's still very talented and would've been a stellar actress regardless of her upbringing. However, it would be false to say she shouldn't have the tag
