Since only one foutte is allowed per routine doesn’t that mean either the pivot at 0:38 or the pivot at 2:49 is not valid ?

hi! the shapes at 0:38 are not eligible for fouetté pivot in 2025. this means they are treated as pivots in a series and the fouetté coming afterwards is valid 😁

Rule 5.4.3. rotation 360, the ad should be valid in 1:05 and 1:13

I put the slow motion on purpose to show that the moment where the roll begins and her body starts rotating are not the same when she ends the Difficulty... I perfectly know the rule, as it is the same since 2022, but her body rotation in both cases you mentioned is not 360 degrees, so both DA are not valid

i generally like some of the changes of this code esp concerning DA criteria, but i really hate that the fouetté with straight leg is still worth 0.2 per rotation. thought that would be the first thing to go in the new code

Fouetté pivot w/ straight leg will be 0.20 only for the Base rotation, the turns coming afterwards will add 0.10 each and not 0.20 😊 also, the arabesque shape (free leg backwards, but iguess you meant the same as i do) is not eligible for fouetté, just passé, front and side straight leg

Thank you for that video, very helpful! I think it would be an interesting new COP because the gymnasts won’t be doing “easy” DAs and get points over something more difficult costing the same. Also I hope they pay more attention to the dance steps when they won’t be able to do DAs in them. Can you explain why the first two balances are counted if the CBD is removed?

hi! i agree with you! the first two Balances are judged as two separate DB, as they are correctly performed and present a valid handling each 😊 just not as 1 DB (CBD), but 2 DB 👍 their value is included in the total DB score, as they belong to the maximum 8 DB with the highest value in the exercise. Is it clearer now? let me know 😇😇

@@saem_rg yes, thank you! Just because some people when doing this type of analysis they don’t count them and from the COP I couldn’t really understand the situation 😊

@kristinavancheva654 oh really? that's weird 🤔 they do not exist anymore as 1 single DB, but if they are performed according to the rules, they are still valid separately as two DB. did you check in these other analysis you mention that the 2 DB not counted were among the 8 DB with highest value? maybe they did not count them because the gymnast performed other DB with greater value than these 2... is it possible? 😇 if you want to dm me on instagram we can discuss this with the video analysis in question 👍

The judges took the right decision at the very last minute! I don't know how she made it to the top ten gymnasts. It's a mystery..
