Though her voice is unfortunately not how it use to be, we will always be grateful for what she has accomplished and what she will accomplish in the years to come. Honestly, I appreciate her determination to continue singing, despite the strain on her voice. While it is easy to pass judgemental comments, I think listeners ought to understand that life as a performing artiste has its own share of challenges. From having listened to her for a few years now, I can say that she is very talented.

She is trying her level best to come back to the field after a great tragedy in her life. It was during a margazhi season a few years back, catastrophe struck her life. So don't make such rude comments and she has not given up Music because it is in her blood. She will return with the old vigour and enthusiasm... Because no one had attained the heights of karnatic music that Nithyasree has climbed in her illustrious career spanning over three decades...
