The fact that she is so frank and honest about these deeply personal issues is extremely respectable. What an awesome person.

Maria Bamford is the BEST. I have learned so much from watching her shows and videos. Her brand/style of funny is so layered... I watch more than once because I can't get all the references the first time around. Anything with Maria Bamford in it is an instant anti-depressant and anti-anxiety treatment for me! She is very good, strong medicine indeed! ❤️

@@RudyCaseres Rudy... pass it onto Maria that the intrusive thoughts arent hers ... they Do come from the outside and she CAN get off the meds. Sharing a video -in it a Dr of psychology explains how he learned there really are entities creating the hellish mental worlds so many of us suffer in. Its obvious to me why Maria is not better yet.. she's still an athiest. We are souls..we live in a brain/body ,oblivious to the evil spirits who want to harm us. knowing solves so much. :) They feed on the fear... the reaction to the thought.

Maria Bamford is funny intelligent and a brilliant example that when a person decides to obtain help (The only shame is not obtaining HELP) I can relate to depression anxiety. Got stuck with a bad doctor who prescribed the wrong medicine. Life goes on but you have to deal with the best way you can. Good diet is an important factor. Meditation relaxation techniques-music going for walks. We all have our struggles. I can honestly say that the power of God did save my life. I was at a Very LOW ebb in the hospital and had a very dangerous drug reaction. I decided there and then That I Wanted to live No Matter What! I hope my story helps anyone going through ANY mental health issues. You are loved. No matter how Bad you are feeling bear in mind YOU can learn to deal with ANY issues. My prayers Blessings to ALL!

I think it's so awesome that we get to see and hear someone as special as Maria talk frankly about the several conditions that she deals with. When I was growing up in the 50's and 60's, stuff like this would have been hidden from any public view. I was especially interested in her thoughts on how performing actually helps her. I've long suspected that certain types of people are attracted to the performing arts because they discover a kind of healing dynamic (or at least a counteracting effect) that takes place that maybe gives them peace or comfort or a temporary respite from the pain. Thank you, Maria!
