Libiani! Ária do brinde! É nesta ária que Alfredo deixa transparecer o sentimento que ele tem por Violeta Valéry, esta por sinal esplendidamente interpretado por Maria Callas! Un dí felice! Uma declaração linda que Alfredo faz pra Violeta e ela tenta sair fora mas...não consegue, pq dps vem a Ária famosa, Strano! Strano! Ah fors'e lui e Sempre libera! Ela tenta fugir incessantemente do sentimento..E acaba o primeiro ato...e dai se vai por diante! Infelizmente esse lindo relacionamenti acaba pq o pai de Alfredo, o senhor Giorgio Germont exige que Violeta abandone Alfredo...e faz uma série de chantagens . Pobre Violeta e pobre Alfredo. Gratidão por esse lindo vídeo!

Di Stefano's singing, technique and expressiveness are way better than Raimondi's , I wish we could get his 1955 "Ogni suo aver" with the same quality of sound that you offer here ! Unfortunately the only 1955 version I have is a pretty shabby pirate recording. But nonetheless, what a voice he had !!
