I've driven down through West Virginia and seen first hand the aftermath of decades of coal mining, which is now coming to an end. The environmental devastation of strip mining, and the once proud, hard working miners now struggling to make a living. So many small towns with main streets shuttered. Depression and opioid addiction rampant. So many folks reflecting sadly on an era gone forever. But Life goes on. The mountain folks there are a tuff and resilient bunch. Great song you guys that takes no prisoners.
