Every victim can use their ability on any part of the map, but Maria is anchored to grandpa. If she's away she should be able to use her ability to cloak herself from his sonar, so she can do stuff while every victim is standing still.

Being able to crouch walk like your always in shadows could be more balanced. Level 5 should reveal her by Grampa, otherwise an excellent idea

It's interesting how each level 3 counters certain strategies like -1 level counters feeding grandpa, 2 yells counters low leveled grandpa and level 5 grandpa, and grandpa aura counters level 0

I was thinking about an ability for Maria where if she's killed, grandpa no longer takes blood because he's mad at the family. Would make for a fun death tank, family would go out of their way to not kill her.

would need to be a level 3 perk that u need to sweet talk grampa and it should be similar to her dietician perk but a lot better, and if she dies after sweet talking blood fed to grampa is like 50% effective for the rest of the match or something

IMHO Maria's ability needs a buff. Maybe it could apply a demoralizing slow effect whenever Grandpa screams, because Grandpa is turning his back on the family? Could reduce damage done and slow family members for several seconds each time it happens, making Maria a threat to the family's efficiency on top of their sonar.

Maria’s ability distracts Maria’s player from doing objectives. It’s sort of a trade off. She’s not really for me, though she’s good for support in a team, I think. I only play solo-que though.

Double family detection HAS to be the best by far, since it removes their ability to see anything. 2 screams is a long time, and without cook, there's no way they can guard it all. The other 2 are extremely situational, so unless everything goes right, they're useless.

Basically playing a survivor without a power. She should have her own level of influence with grandpa separate from blood level, that makes him do things that solely benefit maria at the expense of everyone else. Her level 3 power should be getting grandpa to open a secret exit for her. So other survivors don't like her because she won't be working on the regular exits with them, and killers don't like her because she'll mostly be hanging around grandpa while the other survivors work on normal exits. Maria is playing her own game.

I might be crazy but I don’t think a lot of people I realize that the endurance attribute is bugged. If you put more than over 30 points into it it’s just wasting them. It only reduces the time in which your recharge your stamina and even then the difference between that is 1 second and that’s between 30 and 50 on points it doesn’t actually make the drainage slow. I don’t know if that’s intended or what

They should have her whispers also cause grampa to lose bloodlust 2-4 points per second until the next feed for 30 seconds. Which at max is a little over a bar if it reaches it's apex. I think the lose a bar once is stupid and would be better like this so it's constantly annoying and puts more pressure on the killers to feed to stop the DOT.

I think a nice buff to Maria's ability would be that GP perks don't work after sweet-talk and when she activates her ability she's immune to gp sonar also maybe family member cannot hurt her while she's near or sweet talking gp or they will have debuff because he don't want to hurt her

- Her ability gives the whole team Overlooked and Radar Detector (or a long-range multi-stun if they stand still). I think activating twice is the easy winner: consider how much time you waste (and how many more risks you take) by sneaking over to grandpa twice as often. - The proximity one doesn't go away from feeding grandpa (6:25 you can see Johnny feeds less than 100 blood and is still highlighted) if it goes away at all. It probably goes after a level up, a sweet-talked sonar, or until a non-sweet-talked sonar. - Reducing him one level once is okay: if you do it when he's level 1, then they have to feed grandpa again before he can yell, and then when he finally does yell, it'll be helping your team instead of theirs. However, if you compare the value of reducing one level to the double-sonar, I think it's very clearly worse: you could just bring a bone knife and stab grandpa straight after feeding him, so the value of this ability is essentially "get one free bone knife per game which can only be used to stab grandpa" which is pretty trash.

Well I got her ability also on level 3 and tried yesterday in a public match the one where it says: "Reduce Grandpa Level", but it didn´t worked for me at all not even one time and the family was still able to level him up ´til level 4, after I left the match.

There are three main 'counters' to Maria: 1. Don't feed Grandpa at all. 2. Use Excited Grandpa to power through the sweet-talking by getting Grandpa to yell more often. This works better in conjunction with a Blood Harvesting build. 3. Kill Maria / camp Grandpa / waste your Hitchhiker traps on trying to stop Maria (who has Bomb Squad and is immune to Grandpa's proximity warning).

Its not weird at all to open both gates at gen and battery on gas station map. I always do it and it gets me out of most situations since you can just loop. Plus killers never usually suspect you to open both. So door slams ops
