Seems like astrology to me. The traits are so wide-casting that I match most of Type A, most of Type AB, and all of Type O with caveats. If I ever get a blood test I'll report back with my blood type and see if the model was an accurate predictor.

South Korea has a similar superstition, and I remember distinctly in my chem class when I took classes at KU, we had to discuss blood and whatever, and this was a mixed class of international students and Koreans. Of course, the Koreans and Japanese were interested in knowing the foreigners' blood types, but most didn't know it. Their argument was "you don't know your blood type?! It's important so you know your personality and who you can love!" To my response was "so, there're only 4 personalities in this world?" Then they stepped back and thought about that statement.

Why would it even be accurate, that is a totally arbitrary connection lol. I can kinda see why people made a connection in old times though. They saw blood as your personal essence I guess. Phrases like "hot blooded" and stuff exist 🤷
