Have you ever faced ballet: did you practice yourself or did your relatives do it? Would you like to study it or send the child to ballet school?

My sister and I have both learned ballet, but in my country there's no professional ballet school and a lack of good professional ballet training. If we were to be a dancer, my family needs to pay a lot to send me abroad, which caused us to both forgo thte ballet career. However we appreciate it a lot and we love your work! You're very fortunate to have a lean body type and the right environment while growing up, and on top of that you must have worked extra hard for years to be where you are now. We love to watch your journey in the ballet world and on stage, and we wanna say that you're an amazing ballerina, keep up the good work❤️❤️❤️

I did go to ballet when a small child, then circumstances did not allow me to continue. But ballet Is my passion, as a child- teenager i was going 2-3 times a week to one of the Opera theatres to see the many ballet performances, in Europe AND now when elderly can appreciate it even more, anytime, on YT anytime, everyday!

Maria Khoreva I started very late (age 14) and actually wasn‘t so bad. After a year of intense training, I skipped three classes. But no one really supported me, so I quit at 25. I really regret it. Now I‘m a doctor, but I miss performing and all the excitement. And yes, I would definitely send my child to ballet, if he/she enjoyed it.

The two future reigning stars of the Mariinsky. It is wonderful to see them together side by side. May with her beautiful arms, charm, and delicate lines and Maria with her exceptional charisma and technique. I did not notice Steppin on stage except on his solo variations.

Hi, I know its late to respond, I recently discovered your channel, I am 12 and I all of the sudden want to start ballet. My family is in a rough condition, family issues, and I want to learn ballet, without putting my mom in a hard condition and make everything more complicating. My mom wanted to put me in ballet when I was a kid and my dad said no, so Im bringing the past into my own hands. I really admire your work but I am not flexible for ballet, but once you find passion for dancing you never quit. :)

The only problem with Maria Khoreva, is that all the others seem a little clumsy
