Maria Kochetkova - Magic Doesn't Just Happen

Not only is Maria one of the great artists of our time, but she has a great life philosophy: "...the difficulties are not there to push you away from what you love, but to make you stronger..." (from the Anaheim Ballet video of her), something which I have taken to heart. And she has a wonderful sense of humor, with a great twinkle in her eye. Fabulous!

What strikes me about Maria is that she is always so honest and frank--with so down-to-earth mindset. She is such a strong and beautiful person with much depth. She never fails to inspire me.

You know what I love about San Francisco Ballet is that it's full of so many interesting people. I always find myself wanting to learn more about the people in it, even though they are 1,000+ miles from them, I find them so fascinating!

I feel lucky to live in the Bay Area because there is art of this caliber here. I feel blessed to have seen her. Just like Alonzo kings lines ballet- the dancers LEPT off of the posters and I HAD to go see. She is really truly exquisite. She is my favorite ballerina in the world! But Alonzo Kings is my favorite modern ballet company ;P I SO WISH they would collaborate and have her as a guest star. 🙏✨ one can only hope for a little more magic to happen 😜🙏
