I liked how this talk ended with the analogy comparing modern Ireland to France before the French revolution - a mere mask - an the yes of Mary - a fully engaged yes. God Bless

Excellent presentation. The late Frank Duff, R.I.P. was very perceptive in his observation of Irish society, even in the early 70's. Ireland gave up it's soul and sovereignty for the 30 pieces of silver from the Marxist E.U. and for the prestige of a seat at the U.N.

Somebody who was also perceptive in his observation of Irish society throughout the twentieth century was Fr. Edward Cahill S.J., Dev's confessor. Sadly his works are now largely forgotten. However his greatest work, 'Framework of a Christian State' has recently been republished by Roman Catholic Books, Fort Collins, Colorado, USA.

While I agree with the referendum vote wholeheartedly I disagree with the depiction of Mary. She died because she had sin… she is not sitting at the right hand of God and she does not intercede in heaven for mankind. This is blasphemy and I can show it to you in the scriptures.

The Virgin Mary was born with out sin, a normal women born with original sin could not give birth to Jesus, that is why Mary was chosen, for her purity, her oneness with the holyspirit.
