Mariachi Pumas Perform in UH Student Center

Since 2011, UH has been proudly designated as a Hispanic-Serving Institution, with 1/3 of all students being Hispanic. The Mariachi Pumas are emblematic of just one way that Hispanic culture has found its home at UH!

Que bonito!!! I was at UH since 1996 (undergraduate, masters, Ph.D. then on staff) too bad we didn't have a mariachi band back then but I'm so glad there's Mariachi Pumas now :)

I was finally able to see the Pumas live at the 3/1/2022 basketball game. Came to Houston from Virginia for 3 games and was delighted when you performed at the half-time. I had been viewing you on youtube and was hoping to view a live performance. Thank You, thank you -- You are great and culturally significant.
