Brandon Malanche - El Palenque - 2nd Place (MS Category) - 29th Annual Mariachi Extravaganza

Brandon Malanche is a student at Mount Jordan Middle School in Sandy, UT. He placed 2nd in the National Vocal Competition middle school category of the 29th Annual Mariachi Extravaganza withe her interpretation of “El Palenque”. Brandon is accompanied by Mariachi Aztlán from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
The Mariachi Extravaganza is one of the largest and most important mariachi music festivals in the world. Over 1,000 mariachi musicians, educators, and aficionados gather in San Antonio, TX every year to be a part of competitions, workshops, and events hosted by the Extravaganza.
