Guys, Im a hardcore Lamb from the 90s so pls don't come for me, but do you think that Mariah uses any AI to create these pre recorded tracks? Because they clearly have her current "tone" and "voice", but the heights that she's reaching and dexterity in her pre-record's vocals are just not something we've seen from her LIVE...so do you think she gets help from AI? Or are the pitching some old studio vocals down and blending them with new pre recorded vocals? Or is she resinging these songs from scratch in the studio, every note new and fresh? I don't care either way, she's still the best vocalist on Earth but I'm just curious...

no shes not using ai if it was ai you would know for sure and she hasnt seen a full song live before so you dont know what or how her voice is and all her pre recorded vocals are done at rehersal

​@@Mariahs5thOctave I think it's mostly a combination of pitching up with melodyne and mixing in old studio outtakes. I'm convinced the Without You whistle for example is not from this time period, because it just sounds too light and prime-like. AI as well maybe, but it's hard to tell because she definitely has access to more advanced tech than we've seen publicly. I doubt she's generating entirely new vocals with AI but maybe she's using it to smooth out her recordings and somehow add "ease" to her belting. Cause some of the belts (especially in VOL) sound like her current unpitched tone, just with an unnatural degree of ease.

There would be a lot of studio tricks... but not sure about the AI thing. Yes, It's pretty obvious that she's lip-syncing to the vocals with 2010~2016 qualities, and I'm 99% confident that she can't sing this good even in studio anymore. So there should be tons of studio help done to have her sound like this. But I don't think that her team needs AI technologies to find the vocal pieces they've been looking for. They already have a tremendous amount of vocal tracks from youger Mariah. And honestly, to some degree, I still prefer to believe that these pre-recorded vocals are actually from her, at least.
