When artists had to sing in order to become singers and every person here is soooo talented, Carey's diva persona is just for laughs as she has stated in her book, several in terviews and her deeply emotional lyrics that are proof of how real and emphatic she tries to be for her fans. We are yet to hear a new collab as emotional, deep, beautiful, intricate and meaningful. Also at risk of sounding sacrilegious yet this is a GOT inspired chain just be clear but ithas to be written "All hail and bow to Mariah Carey, The Queen of Divas, Protector of the vocal skills from the realm, Archiduchess of Vocal range/registers, Empress of agility, The unmatched, The Mellisma mother, The Goddess of Songwriting and producing, The one often imitated, but never duplicated, The embodiment of pure success",. My simpleton ears are not worthy of your talent but a simple sung phrase will be enough to heal me for all eternity.

Mariah and Boyz 2 Men wrote this for the people they had lost recently at the time. Mariah for David Cole (a collaborator of hers) who died due to AIDS and Boyz 2 Men for their tour manager. They just happened to write similar songs and combined them when they met. Filmed the video and recorded the song the same day due to their busy schedules.

5:00 some music videos they run through the whole song in one location then go to the next location and do it all over again. This could’ve taken about four days to film then the editors have to cut and splice the video to match the song. 6:12 I miss Mariah & Madonna from the days this video was done. 6:48 that’s Michael McCary who is no longer with the group mainly cause of health issues and Wanya (the one who was singing on the same mic as Mariah) does most the baritone parts now. Michael had back spasms and was diagnosed with MS. You’ll notice in a lot of their videos he always has some kind of a cane to help him walk. For some reason Michael kept it from the group and the group moved on without him cause they had to keep moving and didn’t know why he wasn’t being more active. He felt betrayed that the group moved on yet he didn’t let them know what was going on with him and why he couldn’t perform. You guys should check out more Boyz 2 Men like “On Bended Knee”, “I’ll Make Love to You”, “End of the Road”, “Water Runs Dry”, “It’s So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday”, “Motownphilly”, “4 Seasons of Loneliness” and “Hey Lover” featuring LL Cool J. One other one that they don’t have a video for but is a good song is “50 Candles”. They have such great harmonies. They released a Motown album where they sang old Motown songs. They’ve also covered Journey’s “Open Arms”, Cyndi Lauper’s “True Colors”, & Lonestar’s “Amazed”.

Do more Mariah!!! Also Mariah's diva act has always been a joke that people take too seriously. But if i wrote, produced, and SANG all my songs and created a legacy greater than most artists Id say she deserves a lot more credit than she gets for just being a woman who is a boss and knows what she wants!
