Check out a concert singer from a long time ago named Yma Sumac. She sang in a range only dogs could hear. LOL. Also check out Minnie Fullerton. She did some whistle singing as well. #dolphinindistress Nice reaction, as usual. With Mariah, one thing I've noticed is that when she is sick her whistle register is actually even stronger. Paloma, there were a few artists (a few) before Mariah that had access to their whistle register. One of them, notably, was Minnie Riperton. If you and Anthony want some good old school R&B, take a listen to Minnie...either via reaction or in your personal time. She definitely served as an inspiration to Mariah.

R&B singer Angela Winbush of Rene and Angela is legendary for hitting that octave in many of her songs , example the classic " Angel " . Ronald fell in love with her voice and married her. Shanice Wilson recreated it in the 90's with her remake of " Loving You ). And in the late 90' a Luther Vandross protege Lisa Fischer killed it on " How Can I Ease the Pain " .
