Holinger Mariah fans need to understand, she has been whistling for over 3 decades. It has become hard on her vocals. I rather for her to never whistle again then to lose her whole singing voice. @@honeyx04 her whistle actually hasn’t become hard on her, if you watched enough Mariah’s interviews you’ll know her whistle register is almost always available. Her upper belt (chest belt) on the other hand isn’t. She goes on to explain that “I’m not a regular belter” on a Rosie ODonnell interview. And on another interview she said “my range depends on how much sleep I have, but somehow my whisper register is even clearer when I have no sleep from time to time”

They kept missing cues lol. I knew this song would be lackluster live. They should do a stripped version. I love the studio version but this just doesn't work in a live setting. Mariah is forcing the low notes.

Well the good thing with this song is they can miss as many cues as the song requires, and the live version would still be better lol I actually disagree with your comment though. On the contrary, the studio version of this song is so lackluster that it doesn't work as a record alone. At least with it live, and them interacting with each other, it brings this dud of a song some type of life IMO.

In terms of lyrics, I really like it. Mariah just wrote a story and it’s so good. It may not have that much of super great vocals but it’s actually dope and so much better than songs today!
