When "All I Want for Christmas Is You" first came out in 1994, I was lucky enough to go to a meet-and-greet in Midtown Manhattan and meet Mariah in person. I will forever be grateful for that moment - every time the song comes on, I'm transported back to that moment and that stage of my life. The song got only mediocre reviews back then - I am glad to see the song grow on people over the years!

Bey had strong competition from Madonna, Katy Perry, Rih Rih, Gwen Stefani, Taylor Swift, Adele among others... Y'all love taking away Beyonce's accomplishments by saying she had no competition.
