From someone who has been following MC from the start of her career, my opinion is this - when she began facing vocal challenges and unpredictability with vocal range, all she needed to do was take the much-needed vocal rest, make the adjustments to her songs into the lower keys that would better suit her current voice, and be confident in the fact that she still is and always will be one of the most creative, gifted, and talented singers of all time. Remember, she is A SKILLED VOCALIST, A REAL SINGER - not an entertainer like some they refer to as "singers" today.

The thing is, this even though is pre-recorded, it’s her current voice and we know her voice is sounding really good, just looks at her instagram posts. But it really interesting that she is doing hero all pre-recorded since the last Christmas show. Because all the other dates on the Christmas tour she sang it live and it was pretty good I’m still happy that her voice is sounding so good, she really needs to maintain it and not over use it now

​​@@maximo240693at least its recent vocals. Rehearsals show she does sing live so she probably recorded this during rehearsals... clearly a confidence issue actually singing in the moment. She went through a lot of effort to prerecord new vocals instead of singing live... or her voice has genuinely improved and she is using it sparingly. Im just glad its new vocals.

What if these tours are just a warm-up of her presence to the public and a way to make some money to promote the upcoming new album? She might not want to do these but puts up with it as a marketing decision? Hence, she may be lipping these to preserve energy for the new record and tours, not to mention, Christmas.
