She now finally gave in to this technique. Maybe she has always been reluctant to do it coz she could be afraid that the new tone might not be appreciated. Now it's a little different but she can now access the "range" relax, with ease.

@@sap3373 actually it's the same technique as during the Daydream era. The only difference is that back then she was obviously younger, the voice not so dark as nowadays and she could do all sorts of vocal acrobatics. The real issue with Mariah is that she's never had a constant technique she would always rely on. She would just go with the flow. Now she was in desperate need of one as her voice simply wouldn't respond to her repertory anymore. Hopefully it's the beginning of a healthier era for her voice.
