Not only does she have an extensive studio album catalog, she also has an extremely extensive remix catalog. She changed the remix game by actually going back into the studio and rerecording new versions of her songs from dance mixes to hip hop remix collaborations with some really amazing rappers.

About the video from what I gathered is Mariah wrote a lot of her songs as a pre teen and teenager and she once mentioned how she was once interested in this guy and how she dyed her hair and he rejected or didn’t pay her any attention or something like that and since was on her debut album. The girl is suppose to be a representation of her and how she felt hence the title “Someday” of the song. But Mariah is the Queen of Music!!

Her catalog has hundreds if not more songs. She has 15 studio albums, multiple remixes of most songs (and most of the time she redoes the vocals for the remixes), pioneered pop artist collaborating with hip hop artists and there's tons of them (she's the honorary member of some rap groups), and gets into it enough that some fans sometimes call her rapriah. She's also being inducted into the songwriter's Hall of Fame today. For her early career though and a lot of decisions, she was very controlled, she's actually said that she doesn't like the studio version of thus song as much as her original demo, she felt like they overproduced it.

Yeah, Mariah released a lot of albums in a short amount of time, and has a very wide discography, and you've barely reacted to the half of it honestly lol there's so much more to come. I don't think you've really gotten into any of the hip hop collabs and remixes on this channel yet. A good one to start with would be "Breakdown ft. Krayzie Bone & Wish Bone", "The Roof ft Mobb Deep", or “Crybaby ft Snoop Dogg” those are definitely two fan favorites

This new jack swing mix is the better version was able to dance to it . The original album version was more of a slower rock sound. When they remixed gave it that new jack swing r&b hip hop mix that video was all over mtv , vh1 , bet and radio . This takes me back childhood 10 years old lol . Thank you for the reaction. Mariah didn’t like this song much but you know every artist has songs in their catalog they don’t like much . The video was Reminiscing of young Mariah as a little girl boy not paying her any attention then it shows her as older talking about a ex boyfriend still wanting her back after doing her wrong .
