Quite simply, this is now my favourite JESC entry ever. The instrumentation and arrangement on this song are just stunning and Mariam completely delivers with the vocals, Her performances in the national selection show "Ranina" (check them out) prove she is going to be more than capable of delivering at the live final itself

Ok folks.....WINNER ALERT!! This is just fantastic.....Maryam has amazing vocals and this midtempo electronica is right up my street!! Moody, rhythmic and those drums......i love ❤️ this song. This will take some beating and if there's going to be a better song in adult Eurovision we will be in for some treat in Liverpool in May. But for Yerevan, Georgia 🇬🇪 has my vote. In a stellar year this stands out from the pack. Armenia runs it close as does another entry (no spoilers Tom) but they should be playing for silver and bronze. This is pure gold ✨️💛👌 Bravo Maryam and bravo Georgia 🇬🇪

This song is about peace, it’s a reference to the war in Ukraine and struggle of Iranian women and youth in general for freedom. Also at 2:27 taking the hat off is a reference to the young girl who was killed for not wearing a hijab. Also thanks for the reaction and please forgive my grammar! (Btw I totally agree Georgia needs to put more effort into the adult Eurovision songs cause they aren’t my favorite)

I think that their adult entries could be excellent - Georgia is a very musically rich country with a very unique sound. But I just think they don’t want to host it! It’s too expensive. Which is very sad. Would love a folk song from them

I think it's important to remember that jesc goes up to 14 years old who I would say are more likely to listen to something like this or Armenia than France.

@@vicsymons1570 that's not at all what I'm saying. I'm giving an opposing opinion to the critique of some songs not being "kiddish" enough for jesc. It makes sense for jesc to have some songs that have a more mature sound as there is a broad age range and I find on YT that reaction videos rarely pick up on that in their discussion of those entries.

@@AlioH89 For me no it doesn't make sense to see childen trying to play the adults performing mature songs to please only to a target more mature, they play a role I find cringe and inappropriate. Sia, Dua Lipa, Ava Max have not 14 years old as far as I know.

I think the UK goes just over the line of a kid emulating adults with the lyrics of that song (which i think is more what you're getting at) but I don't think Georgia and Armenia fall in to that camp which is why I used them as examples.
