I can’t believe that Mariam is already a Junior in college. Where has the time gone? I was a subbie when she like a freshman in high school. College fashion is more For comfort, she’ll work her way up to those dresses once she’s off campus lol.

I like Mariam and the way she does not bend or conform to the pressures around her. That is something you taught her and sometimes when we see it and it throws us a little off. I have 4 girls and 3 have already finished college but they were pretty much like that when they were younger. Now let's talk gardening. Please, please, please ask your dad to show us more of his Nigerian garden. I would love love love to see it. I'm African American and I'm also in the Silver Life. My dreams of going anywhere in Africa are gone but I would love to see videos or pictures of the kind of things he plants. Maybe they would live in the Houston, Texas horrible heat😁 Thank you. You have a beautiful family and your mom has great style😁🥰

I admire Mariam's modesty kind; of rare these days. More photos and video clips of your father's garden, please. I learned from you, Habiba, how to grow plants in water and is waiting for roots to form. Even putting a bean in the earth and see it sprout in a few days is amazing to me. I know where Kenton got that T-Shirt 👍.

Best advice you can give parents (who go clothes shopping for college, 20 yrs & older, paying with their own $$$) is to keep quite and let them pick their own clothing. I would rather have a daughter (conservative ) then one who buys clothes showing too much skin! Loved your dad's garden, and yes show more pictures of it! Blessed Sunday!

Your daughter has always been calm, come to think of it, so are her brothers. Yes, please send us more of your dad's garden photos, as l intend growing tropical fruits in our new house we are buying in the UK 🇬🇧. l am also an accomplished gardener, but we always sell our houses with their established gardens, give away what l can. Once again, looking forward to your dad's garden photos. l pray Mariam enjoys her university life.

You need to put some gravel or broken pottery in the bottom of the pots especially if there isn’t a drainage hole at the bottom so the roots don’t sit in water and rot. It’s best to use pots with drainage holes.

GloriaFriend2U: I enjoyed this video of your children in college, your Father's garden, would love to see pics of Nigeria...Great idea of the rooted plants🪴 I plan to do the same then find people in a Nuring Care Home who loves flowers, show and have them to watch the roots come into existence in a cup, give them a small flower pot with dirt in a bag to plant when it's time. I know they will love this as they watch the plant grow, it gives them something to look forward to do everyday. Thanks for showing & the idea came to my mind. "Blessing" ❤️

It must be comforting knowing that Karim and Mariam are at the same university , at least for now. From what we are allowed to share of your family, each child has a bit of both parent's personality.
