I just find it amazing how you can mentally paint that picture in your head beforehand, so you know EXACTLY what your going to do, brushes and colours to use, etc etc…..every single stroke seems to have come from a blueprint already prepared in your head alone. Nobody could ever copy your work beforehand….each piece is so unique ….being a lifelong “Ailurophile”, I wish I could paint like this…I have to admit,I envy your easy,laid back style ( though of course I realise it’s taken a lot of practice and training in the past), it’s so perfect, and so beautiful …….I wasn’t sure about the “wet on wet” start, but you have proved again, that your forethought was Right! Beautiful , handsome cat. May I ask if he is from a life model? Or figment of imagination? Either way, I can tell you like and know your cats! …..I’m 70 now, and seem to have lost all my confidence over the years.,.illness and a wretched brain tumour have Taken away a part of me, which I can’t replace, but I ask if you could please send some positive painting energy to me, when you have a few minutes…maybe,just maybe I can find my paints again, and try…..if at first you don’t succeed, etc,etc…Bless you, and Thankyou for your truly beautiful work. I would like to send you lots of positive energy from my paintings 🤗🌸🌹I hope it inspires you to paint, many blessings to you! I does take practice to feel comfortable with wet on wet, and once you find your favorite subject to paint in watercolor, it makes it so much easier, and more relaxing too. My favorite subjects is animals but I paint a little bit of everything ☺️🌹Just so I don't get stuck on one thing, plus I enjoy challenging myself. The reference photo was found online pixabay.com 🌸
