Brad and Lauren were "supposedly" dating but I think we can all agree that it was clearly a publicity type thing, then after that ended the Vamps made a joke in an interview saying that they all dated Lauren and they all had a bit of a go at her. Which incase anyone was confused about why fans were mad about those comments its because the comments came off as them saying Lauren was a "slut". So if that wasn't bad enough "I Found A Girl" came out and one of the producers favourited a tweet saying I found a girl is about Lauren Jauregui, and then in the video people noticed some similarities between Brads girl and Lauren giving fans more hints that the song is in fact about Lauren. Then some fans were angry because this was potentially outing Lauren. So things were already pretty tense between The vamps and Harmonizers but then the Vamps decided that it would be a great idea to cover Thats My Girl on bbc live lounge even though I'm sure they're fully aware of the amount of dislike most fifth harmony fans have for them which I'm sure got their performance plenty of publicity. I may be wrong about some of this but this is what I've heard and seen from most people talking about the Vamps in this fandom... Hope it cleared up a bit of your confusion also fun fact another nick name for Brad is no lips because of his very thin lips.
