Beautiful scarf tieing styles.. Thank you. I never leave home without a scarf. I enjoy the comfort of a beautiful scarf. I love my neck to feel warm. I also enjoy my scarf as a headband when it's very windy. Then in the rain , I'm happy with my scarf even if I don't have my umbrella. I drape my scarf over my shoulders when I go to church wearing a strappy dress. Then I feel properly dressed on a hot summer's day. Thank you I loved your video.

Watching your KZbin, I learned a few new ways to tie my silk scarves. My favorite way of wearing a scarf is in my hair as a headband or covering the elastic on my ponytail. Another way is as a shoulder covering when wearing a sleeveless dress in a cold dining area or theater. I take my larger scarf, fold it in half (from a square to a rectangle), and tie small knots where the two corners meet, then put my arms through the knotted openings (like putting on a coat. It's just enough to cover the shoulders, but the beautiful design of the scarf is in full view from behind.

Your true love of scarfs comes across throughout ! You look Gorgeous in every scarf wearing choice! First let me say you have a classic look even without a scarf on . Your lean face , and long neck and Physicality look so perfect. Your classic T shirt perfect ,the blazer perfect, the neutral colors, perfect! My favorite favorite woman and actress: Audrey Hepern , Breakfast at Tiffany’s . Her style was classic with a modern take . And importantly, She wore it well. All through her life a natural. You are a natural also. In the seventies and eighties when I worked midtown in Manhattan, It was fashionable to wear scarfs as beautiful accessory to an outfit. Also , it was standard to dress up, and look like thought was put into Dressing . I MISS the days when It was cultural ,to all dress “up”. Thank you for tutorial, well done.

Thanks! This brought to my mind memories of my Mom and my older Sister wearing their many scarves. You look, and they always looked, so elegant. They used broaches, pins, and earrings as you described. This was in the.mid 1950's. Women wore hats and gloves when dressing up and always when going to church. They both had several of those Pill Box hats with veils like Jackie Kennedy wore. I remember that they would fuss with those veils in the same manner as they did their scarves to create different looks. Mom had a fabulous eye for color and color coordination. They wore the veils many different ways. Over one or both eyes, entire face, back over top of hat. They also wore those villager wide brimmed hats with or without high crowns. Some of their scarves were almost transparent with just a hint of color, while others were opaque. Those were mostly worn to funerals. They also wore bandeaus and lace mantillas. The hats and bandeaus had decorative and often fanciful attachments. Mom especially would change out the veils and decorative bits and pieces creating a totally different style or effect. I thought that they were very creative and thrifty when they completely changed out the look and color schemes. Some of the more fanciful became wall art or decorative touches on furniture and shelves. I'm not sure if they had lots of hats or just a few that they changed the look of. I was too young to remember. I was very definitely a tomboy and did not have enough interest to learn their hat art or make-up techniques or skill with creating elegant hairdos.

A Child of the 1950s myself & I grew up the same way! Hats, gloves, scarves the whole deal! That one perfect leather Handbag that they used for years bc they took care of it! Shoe polish was used regularly! I look at the Pictures of that era & remember the Beautiful Women who cared about how they looked & the Image they projected! It was all about QUIET Class! My Mother was one of those Women! We dressed up just to go shopping! As Teenagers we wore curlers in our hair at night bc we never wanted any one to see us in them! A SCARF went over the "Rollers"! CLASS never dies & a Silk Scarf over the most simple clothing is always CLASS, no matter who you are! I hope you Continue to Enjoy your Beautiful Scarves for Many Years to Come! 😊💐🇺🇸

What Great Ideas for all those who might Love Scarves on others but don't know how to get that Same Look! For those of us who wear scarves regularly, your Hints remind us how to get the best fold for the best looks! I have at least 30-40 Silk scarves that I started collecting 50+ years ago! I've always worn scarves since the 1950s when my 2 older sisters would get tired of a scarf & want to get rid of it, I'd beg to have them! Little by little after I got married I bought scarves that I could afford, learning as I went along! Now I have given away all scarves that are not Silk & I buy a few each year to match certain outfits! I buy various sizes as well! Some are easier to use tightly around the neck (best for summer) & others are the large ones that I tend to use more during the Fall & Winter! For me, there is nothing so luxurious as the Caress of Beautiful Silk against my skin! It soothes me & gives me Peace! So I wear one of my Silk Scarves nearly every day! I have racks made especially for scarves that I have in my Closet, this makes it easy to choose a scarf for the day without handling all of them to find the right one! A rule I always stick to is that unless I actually get a spot or makeup on a Scarf I never Dry Clean them! But if I need to, I use a Cleaners that use all Natural, Non-Toxic Cleaning Solutions! That will protect the Longevity of the Scarf! I recently found Many, Many 100% Mulberry Silk Scarves on Amazon that are Shockingly Affordable! Every Woman should have a Few Silk Scarves, no matter the Budget! Those at Amazon are a good choice! Happy Hunting for the Perfect One & Happy Dressing! Life is Short so strive to Live Beautifully Every Day! Thanks for your Video! 😊💐🇺🇸
