Every time I see the film, I am awakened by very strong emotions. They teach me to love, with all the little caresses that come back, all the happy and sad faces. It's hard to understand, that it's a movie and that they act in front of a camera. It's as if they are walking right next to me, so that I also want to caress Marianne's cheek and eat ice cream with her at the same time. I live in the city of Luleå in northern Sweden where they filmed in the snow. One thing I can not understand is why Marianne sought out other men. From the very first moment, there was only one woman for Connell.

@@morse1883 There is not much more to say- I myself fell completely in love with Marianne / Daisy, but no rival to Connoll / Paul. I lived into their lives, so I completely cried. The most difficult episode was the one that was recorded in my hometown Luleå in Sweden. I know it's just a movie, but I do not think sadism and love go together Maybe it was also the author's intention, to say so? -
