@justinP2132 жыл бұрын
With the jacks it wasn't a nit roll. Guy was trying to figure out if he could shove all-in and get value from a flush. (Or maybe a lesser full house). Hence why he called with a very strong hand instead of going all-in. He gave a lot of credit to Mariano and assumed he wouldn't get a call from a flush. Dude wasn't worried about AA or 10-10 it was always a call. He wasn't sure if he should call or go all-in lol.

I don't think you can characterize that J Scoops JJ hand as anything other than a really goofy slow-roll. He had the third nuts and spent 3 minutes worried about the first or second ones? It wasn't even a reraise he was debating whether or not to call, just a lead of a pot-sized bet. That should have been a snap-call if not a jam. Weird.

8:27 hand with 98, i dont see the result yet but i would consider there a shove instead potsized bet. reason is you will always call a counter shove. bluffs are more likely to shove there too. there is simply no good value bet that doesnt commit you to a call. so in all hands youre good you get 10k or less while in all hands youre beat you payup 21k. i also dont see much of a difference for him calling either. he will fold or call on both sizhes almsot all the time. alternative would be check on the river depending on the oponent.

Obviously things weren't going your way but your body language gave off you weren't that interested in your hand. For example the pocket Jacks hand on the queen high board. 15:43 are you bad if you fold that full house mariano had? Like obviously that specific time he lost money by calling but I feel like if you’re willing to fold there I’m not sure if you’re winning or losing long term. I think I would’ve folded bc tbh, even though it’s a full house, the villain is repping at least one Jack. So either he has absolutely nothing or he has the jack, whether u make full house on the river or not your hand is going to be a bluff catcher against what the opponent is representing.

Day 2 was absolutely brutal.
