I think based on the lyrics of the ballad. In verse 2 it says “If one be gone, we carry on/ Spirit as our guide.” The ballad has been established by the creators to be a pseudo-roadmap for the witches. So I strongly believe Sharon will be coming back as a spirit guide for the coven during their journey.
