I really like how you start these tutorials with a bit of background about the inspiration. Especially when it's an actual person. I think it makes the look more interesting and complete. Thanks!

i like how all the looks you do are very unique, not just your regular eye makeup. Regular everyday looks are so boring to watch over and over again :) Keep up the great work! ^^

I think you're a lot more artistic than many other KZbin makeup-ers. I love watching and learning how to put make up on from a variety of people, but you are so creative (esp. Halloween videos) and I love what you're trying to do with the Beauty Through The Ages. It's a fantastic idea!!

I love it! this was so adorable. I think it would be cute to do a very small french looking beauty mark, like, on the cheek bone - just to give it that extra nod to french culture, but overall i really loved this!!! :) You inspire me!

Really pretty! I'm soooo in love with the 18th century, and this was just great! I'll try that style tomorrow, without the false lashes though :) Great vid!

Yeah! w00t! You did a Rococo look! Although, I don't know if it's because I requested it on your Egyptian look, 'cuz it's a pretty obvious decision to make anyways if you're doing Makeup through time. I LOVE this project you're doing! I'm doing my undergraduate in art history and I love cosmetics so this is just a combination of everything I adore! I think you should also do a Geisha video because it'd def a staple in makeup history, just not Western history.

You're missing the point; it's supposed to be dramatic, not natural. 18th century cosmetics in general and as used by the French court in particular were nothing close to natural. Her modern interpretation hits exactly the right tone. I love it. I've tried it. It's not a look for the timid or those lacking confidence but it is a lot of fun for those rowdy nights out with the girls.
@darlingmoon0039 жыл бұрын
Maria Antoinette was s trendsetter....she set the trend of wearing tight corsets, deep cleavage, wearing lots of rice powder all over the face, carmine on the cheeks and a fake beauty mark. Nonetheless I loved t his look and I know if MA was alive she would be proud of this inspired look on her.
