Marie's vs Faber-Castell Kneaded erasers

They are erasers but you can mold them into whatever shape you like. Also with this kind there is no eraser dust, so there is an advantage that I forgot to mention. I think I accidentally called this a 'gum eraser' in the video once and that's not correct? It's a kneaded eraser. Kneaded. Kneading eraser. Have I made myself clear oh great algorithm.

That took a dark turn at the end... ;) But it kneeded something to make it interesting! Daiso also have electric erasers that are surprisingly effective however, can chew a hole in your paper in a matter of moments. Love your work. Keep it up!

You can make your own kneadable eraser by collecting up a bunch of eraser crumbs from a white polymer eraser and kneading them a lot. You will also have to mix in some adhesive off the back of some labels to get it sticky enough and to keep it pliable. Otherwise, it falls apart into crumbs again once it cools down and you'll have to rework it.

​@@Ashsibe Haha yeah, I don't know about curiosity, but boredom for sure-which is just a milder type of desperation. I'd always mess with my eraser shavings in class out of boredom. In any case, thanks for the videos. I hope you turn this thing into a successful career!

Great video really entertaining. Don't know if they are available in Australia but the CARAN d'ACHE and Factis K20 work great and both last for years and they are both firmer than the Faber Castell. Thanks for the video.

LYRA makes the best kneaded eraser by far! Only product that Lyra makes better than Faber Castell or any other brand.

I’ve heard good things about Lyra, but haven’t had a chance to try one. I do like Faber-Castell though kneaded erasers though.

Left in a drawer or stuck to my drawing desk. Never found I needed to store them in any special way.

if you have animals that shed a lot, you could keep it in a little plastic cup or bag. the hair doesn’t mess with how well it erases but it bothers me to see the strands
