Great that we got Walter back. He came to a little town in upper Washington State to play in a converted church to play to around 400 people in November of 2015. It was an awsome gig with his son helping out on guitar. They were out there in Burlington WA for the Saturday night gig, and I happen to be living there for the moment. I went as I had to being a fan of the blues and Walter for years. Glad he is alive and kicking out the JAMS. Johnne in Seattle

Can't wait to see one of my guitar heroes in the UK 17/11/15. what a great fighter and man he is. Marie is an incredible woman. Still giving us his incredible playing after all he's been through. I had tears in my eyes the day my wife presented me with the tickets not only to a gig to see Walter but in my home town at a very small intimate venue. The blues is a great community. Such humble people the trouts are. Our very own danny bryant filled in for walter while he was so sick. Thanks for the footage to michaelmitch. Peace,love and health to all.

In 2002 I was getting ready to be released from prison from a unit outside Tuscon az, and while I'm prison I found my blues and also the music known as the blues that pulled me out of my addictions and in to a wonderful array of music I had only witnessed every Sunday night in as local radio station program called NOTHING BUT THE BLUES with Terry O. I couldn't wait to get out finally after 3 years inside and but my first blues CD, Buddy Guy's Sweet Tea , and go see Walter Trout for his first appearance at the Nimbus Brewery and blues bar!!!!! After hearing so many of his live songs on that radio program from his newest CD live from Tampa bay Florida!! The reason I'm gone! I love you Walter you will never know just how much your music inspired me to turn my life around, especially with songs like LIVING EVERY DAY!!! Been 16, 17 years now since I got released from prison that time and I have not had anymore run ins with the law since!!!! Much love now from Peoria Illinois!!! You and your music are both in my heart my friend!!!!!

I'm sure I read somewhere that Danny Bryant did some gigs Walter was contracted to do and he raised some money when his insurance was running out. I saw him twice when I lived in Blackpool and I thank my friend Jim for introducing me to his music. Since then I've bought many of his recordings in his various guises.
