Marie Ty

Marie Ty, Leadership award finalist, is intensely committed to her role as a mentor and leader for her team in the Ministry of Health. Her presence is felt across the Province through her work on innovative physician compensation initiatives, such as developing and implementing the revised new to practice contracts and the Longitudinal Family Physician (LFP) Payment Model. Marie balances her large portfolio and team while valuing and caring for the people in her life and the citizens of British Columbia.
