Greg: Thomas is such an interesting character, I wish Downton Abbey was much deeper. Never satisfied with the character display, what we go to know. I wish focus would have been on all their personal development instead of the outer glamour and events.Thomas hints that he has been too kind, and getting hurt much can lead to hardening and becoming dark.
