They didn't show the best one: "What is a Weekend?"
@astrosfan52885 жыл бұрын
I was waiting for that one lol.
@juttasahm39965 жыл бұрын
Yes, that was great, too! And the faces of the others!!
@kellyhiebert67665 жыл бұрын
I think one of the reasons why they didn't include that one is that it was a genuine reaction as in she honestly didn't know what a weekend was. Where as all the other lines are of her own creation/wit/opinion.

It is SO WEIRD to hear Michelle Dockery’s réal accent, and not the perfect English accent of Lady Mary It changes her voice a lot I’m always impressed by the English actors capacity to change their accent I know they learn how to do it as it is an absolute requirement in that country, but still

My two favourite scenes of Maggie's is when she first uses the telephone in season 2 and when she first runs into Shirley MacLaine in season 3 - putting them together was brilliant!

My favorite was when haughty Ian Glenn was Mary's new suitor after she had turned down Matthew. You could tell they were ill-suited for each other even though he had been knighted, and was independently wealthy. He threatens Mary by saying that he is never coming back again, and Granny says, "Oh good, is that a promise?" I love Ian Glenn and about fell off the couch laughing!
@valkyriesardo2782 жыл бұрын
Glen was asked in an interview about working with Dame Maggie. He confessed he did his best to remain under her radar. I had a whopping crush on his Jorah Mormont. That made me very unsympathetic toward Khaleesi. He was far less appealing as Mary's fiance. I had to wonder how she ever considered it.

Maggie knows how to be ruthlessly rude with classic style! She had me laughing all too long and often. You just can't help liking her. Her actions, her snobbery just everything about her. I want to be like her when I am in my 70's and beyond.

One laugh after another and these three actors - love them all - said exactly what we thought and more, of course. So glad 'Tom' was kept in the show the whole time. His character really had 'some traveling' to do - great job too!
