This was on The Voice Kids Russia - this was the 4th season in 2017 when Diana was 13. The song is called "Jodel Time" and is sung in a mixture of French, German & English. No-one turned and Diana was eliminated from the show - this caused rather a lot of discontent in Russia.

Diana Dmitrievna Ankudinova (Russian: Диана Дмитриевна Анкудинова, born May 31, 2003)[1] is a Russian singer. Much of her initial fame resulted from her winning two consecutive seasons of You Are Super!, a talent competition show on the Russian NTV network for children who have spent some significant part of their childhood without parental care.[2] Diana Ankudinova's performances were posted on the NTV web site and the NTV KZbin channel, where they soon gained hundreds of millions of views around the world.[2] Diana Ankudinova sings mostly in Russian, English and French. She has also sung in other languages including Spanish, German and Arabic.

In 2017, Diana went to the Russian 'The Voice Kids' in Moscow. Diana sang 'Yodel-Time' ...but what happened? None of the judges turned around. The entire audience gave a standing ovation. The next day a huge scandal broke out on social media ... What happened? Unfortunately, like everywhere else in the world, TV competitions are manipulated. Here the jurors excuse themselves that they don't know whether Diana can do more than yodel. You should see the full version of the video, she sings another stanza 'Non, je ne regretted rien' by Edith Piaf and puts the jury to shame. Nyusha is one of the jurors who didn't turn around. A few months later, she invited Diana to one of her performances and sang on stage with her ... as an apology (I think Diana is the better singer here). The same thing happened a few years ago. In 2014/15 the Russian composer Anna Petryasheva was a juror in a singing competition in which Diana took part. Diana was the best but was eliminated. Here it happened, like later in 2017 with 'The Voice Kids': The jury had the instructions of the organizers not to recognize Diana as the winner. The reason for the jury was that they had already won too many times. Судьи тогда показали свою слабость и за это люди их осудили, рейтинг этой передачи очень сильно упал. Зато на другом канале НТВ, на шоу Ты Супер Диана победила дважды и взяла Гран-при. Вообще эта девочка не с простой судьбой. Посмотрите это шоу. Там Диане 14и15 лет. И последнее Шоу МАСКГООН, тоже на НТВ. И опять Диана победила уже в возрасте 18 лет. At the age of about 11 she auditioned on a show for disadvantaged children and sang/yodeled. It is called 'Jodel Time'...really extraordinary...the audience absolutely loved her but the judges didn't turn their chairs around, even though they were obviously fascinated by her voice. They asked her to sing something else and she sang a French song acapella...but she was not chosen. What did she do? As the audience cheered her, she went up and gave the judges a hug! Completely captivating performer, even at the age of 11! I'd say watch her do Elvis' 'Can't Help Falling in Love' (fantastic -- she makes it an entirely new song). And also you could do 'Wicked Game' and 'Rechenka' both at the age of about 15 in singing contests... utterly spectacular voice! Also she sings a beautiful and uplifting 'Into the Sky!' Enjoyed your comments on her....the background is as extraordinary as the performer. At the age of three in the middle of Russia's far northern Winter she was abandoned, injured, at a bus stop where she was rescued and sent to an orphanage. At the age of 5 she was still traumatized and unable to speak properly. A massage therapist who visited the orphanage trying to help kids, was the first to recognize something special in this little girl, and eventually adopted her. Diana was sent for singing lessons because it was thought that this might help her learn to speak without impediment. Only two years later she started singing in local theater, and in street plays and performances. And soon after was entered in a Russian TV music competition for disadvantaged children. By the age of 10 she was winning local competitions, singing on live TV shows, and her songs started showing up on KZbin. Two months ago, at the age of 18, her first performance during a new Russian television competition with several other renowned performers, has gone viral and has garnered hundreds of KZbin 'reaction' videos, and millions of viewers. Her first song at the competition, an entirely new take on Elvis Presley's 'Can't Help Falling in Love with You' has been called mesmerizing, transcendental and other-worldly...it highlights her uniquely deep voice, and effortless range from low to high, along with her trademark dramatic and passionate interpretation.
