Scrappy Autumn Charm Mug Rug Coasters

Thank you for joining me today as we make some mug rugs (a.k.a “coasters”).
Below are links of items mentioned or used in this video.
For each set of four coasters you will need:
* Six charm squares (5” squares) (links below for buying the autumn charm packs)
* Four 5” x 7” fabrics for backing
* Four pieces of batting measuring 4.75” x 6.75”
Miscellaneous items shown/used:
* 1/4” sewing foot
* Universal sewing foot
* Open-toe sewing foot
* point turner
* Stiletto
* Heat n Bond Lite (used during appliqué)
* 1/4” double sided tape

I made your autumn table runner, then 6 placemats with the scraps, then a patchwork double oven mitt and potholder. Now I’ll make these mug rug/coasters with the scraps. You could add the leaf first zig zag it so it pops more . Then sow it all together. Again beautiful work. Mayvthe most high God bless you x

It's me again! I'm going tell you a little story. I started this channel because I had so many scraps and I wanted to challenge myself to make as many items in a year using my scraps as I could. I was bound and determined to lower the number of scraps that I have. I have to tell you that in all honesty I have more scraps now than when I started, ha ha. I wish you the best of luck with your scrap pile, though! It's fun to use them even if they do multiply!

I love Fall colors. Hello Marie, hope you are doing well. Have you ever ordered from a store called, The Fat Quarter Shop? I just came across it. I haven't ordered anything yet. I just checked it out online. So far, I like what I see. They have very nice charm packs at low prices. Very nice fabric to choose from as well.
