A really incredible trip to the Marietas Islands off the coast of Puerto Vallarta in the state of Jalisco, Mexico. I was staying at the Flamingo Vallarta Hotel in the boat Marina of the town of Puerto Vallarta and would go out on a boat trip for 900 Pesos or 45 USD. I had been traveling up along the west coast of Mexico and stopped in some really incredible places along the way for example Puerto Escondido, Huatulco, Acapulco, Zihuatanejo, Manzanillo and many other cool places.

So it is about your coment Im talking about, you are generalizing, and is very ignorant to say that Huatulco is the best of Mexico, since there ara many amazing places, included the many pristtine beaches but of difficult accaes that are not easy to see around the coast or all the ones in Baja california, Jack the explorer said it is the bigges aquarium of the world. It's sad that he didn't spend more time here--he really gave Vallarta short shrift. I'm hoping he'll at least explore Mazatlán's historic Centro. Also a pity that he appears to eat very little good Mexican food--he mostly eats burgers and junk food--what a wasted opportunity! A little sight-seeing and some pool tricks won't get him to 100,000 followers, I'm afraid.

Thanks for the video - I visit Puerto Vallarta a couple of times each year and haven't gone out to the islands, so it was nice to see! A couple of tips with your maps ... make sure to download the maps so you can use them offline, and if you visit China remember they don't allow anything Google, so no google maps without using a VPN!

Just one question, my friend... what are your recommendations for not getting ripped-off by unscrupulous vendors like the boat trip people that misled you about being able to swim into the cave beach?

Wonderful! thanks I am glad you like the videos. Unfortunately it seems inevitable. As soon as they know you are a tourist you have to pay more. And the funny thing is that they almost get upset sometimes when you say something about it. The mentality some people have is that because you are a tourist you just need to give them money basically.

wooooooowwwww love it...i was on the similar boat,from marina with THE BEACH BOY CRUISE...They give free meals and tequila drinks ,for having courage...and for some snorkeling and cruising to Arcos and Animas....that was my paradise in 2019 and miss Puertro Vallarta...Willy i was with all inclusive,but sick with with too much food ....next time i will do like you....beautiful video ,thanks a lot and take care ....

What a bum deal that you didn't get to swim up through that cave to the secluded beach. I know that was something you were really wanting to do. Hopefully you will still get a chance before you travels to you next destination. I agree with you, ya can't beat the price for the hotel you are staying in plus $10 for an all you can eat buffet is the way to go.

Looks like you took the party boat! I have been to the hidden beach in the Marietas islands. We drove to Punta Mita, the closest point where the boats leave from. The boats leave pretty regularly and take you to Las Marietas. We swam through the tunnel into the cave with the collapsed roof which is now a beach. It’s pretty cool! Try going through Punta Mita next time.

Was just thinking, Willi - you may want to charter a boat a few times to verify if that is the direction you want to go - boats are like houses, they obligate you and are an ongoing cost. Nex time get a taxi to punta mita , do a report on it an then get a small boat to the Iland at the right time ,that you can swim in. to it { the beautiful cave . good luck
