It is not shaky, that is the style of singing of that genre. It is very different from modern pop music, this is traditional Serbian music, and it has many influences and sounds which are foreign to the modern ear. I appreciate you reacting to many different things!

Lol.. I can't believe that someone actually suggested this to you.. She is an amazing pop singer from my country, Serbia.. She sang this, which is traditional type of song from our region that includes those "runs" that we call thrillers and this is very very hard style to sing and it's ok if you have mixed feelings about it, cause you can't understand and connect with this emotion and vocal style cause its not familiar to you.. I would recommended something from her, more familiar stylistically to you..

This song was written quite recently, but it's related to a World War One theme. About a soldier coming back home to his mom after the war.

This is a very important and emotional song for serbian people, because it's about going to war and not knowing if you gonna be back alive to hug your love ones. And, the singer is female and she is one of the best singers in Serbia, and Balkan too. If you know the thing or two about Eurovision, she won for Serbia in 2007. ;)

That style of singing is typical for traditional folk music in Serbia and surrounding area. Pleeease react to Isidora Mitić - It's A Man's World (especially the transition from mixed voice to head voice) or Who Wants To Live forever. It's jaw-dropping. She reminds me of Christina Aguilera. She sang many other songs in a popular Serbian singing competition in Serbia - Run, Listen, Show Me How You Burlesque, Who's Loving You, Let the Sunshine In (theatre performance, it's amazing, her resonance and phrasing), God is a woman, And I Am Telling You, Stone Cold, Hurt, The Show Must Go On, I Can't Get No Satisfaction, etc.
