Ever since the Fugazi album I was hooked on his bass work. Script was great, but Punch and Judy, Incubus, Cinderella Search and Emerald Lies are when he started to become next level. What I love about him, though, is even on songs where he's not playing crazy, he always plays the right notes in the right spots to make a huge rhythmic, melodic, and harmonic contribution

God bless Pete. He loves music so very much, and he wears his heart on his sleeve. The sheer emotion on his face makes me love his playing (and Marillion) even more than I do already. Thank you so much, Pete. You're a class act!!

Pete, you are an extraordinary talented and competent musician, dedicated and determined, always exceeding your limits and improving with each job. His good humor is contagious, his smile illuminates the stages of our lives, you are a wonderful human being. I am Brazilian, I had the privilege of seeing him play here several times with Marillion❤. I was extremely happy to read that one of your memorable moments happened here in Brazil. I am waiting for a next tour, if I pass through São Paulo I will definitely be present again.🎶❤🎸

Had the honor of meeting and conversing with Pete on a progressive rock cruise a number of years ago. What a nice and humble guy in addition to being a killer bass player. Funny story though, at least to me, is when we first got onto the cruise ship before it even left the dock, I got myself an ice cream cone and as I was turning the corner I hear, "hey mate, where did you get that?" I looked up and it was Pete. What a way to start a cruise!

Great little interview! These videos are ideal for new fans to meet the band members, and a nice way for us longtime fans to reconnect with the band and learn a few new bits of Marillion history, and remember why we love this band! I have a program from the Reel to Real tour (for some reason), and it has short bios of the band members with little facts about them - their age, favorite color, I think it even lists their eye color! :) The videos are much more sophisticated and worthwhile. Whoever edited them did a great job as well.

I discovered Marillion live, by winning a competition to see Alice Cooper in Classic Rock. Marillion were playing the next day...so I felt a wee syncronicity when you mentioned him there. I'm the youngest guy at all your Scottish gigs now because of it 😁 You've homed in on me a few times, in a right state. I'm just transcending... Steve was nice enough to guide my trip, by singing to me all night the last time you played Glasgow tho...with the orchestra. The whole night sounded angelic...and I'll wait as long as needed to hear it again. At your side of the stage right next to the PA. Best live band ever

Only just watched this... I couldn't earlier because I'm stuck in Jersey.. And it's mental here.. But listening to Pete... Just reminds me of the good times I had with my brother snd his mates back home in Devon.. In a late night lock in.. Just past the whiching hour..we even had the music box on see that's the best thing being in Devon.. Mind you we always wanted marillion to come to Plymouth a bit closer but never happened anyway When the candles come out.. And we talked about all the memories of marillion and who's best and what songs.. As we have another beer.. Yaa all back them years ago.. And I can remember.. My brother.. Wilf.. And mark who was the landlord.. Having a massive depate.. Over Pete is better and so on.. As for.. This strange engine.. It's a weird one.. But I do love it.... Sadly the days of.. Pub lock.Ins.. And just good friends talking about marillion is gone.... As Mark came out the pub trade.. And my brother wilf.. Passed away in 2009....and I grew up.. Only being 16..back 1985...but just like listening to Pete.. And the rest of the band.. Just takes me back.. Brilliant though.. Get on Pete.. Me boy... Ok people take care.. We love marillion.. Many thanks Devon pirate Paul still stuck in Jersey Channel Islands 👍
